Job Description


Job Summary/Objective: As a Durable Medical Equipment Inventory Clerk at Barber DME Supply Group, LLC, your primary responsibility will be to manage the inventory of durable medical equipment. This includes receiving inventory, packing and shipping inventory and equipment to patients and our store locations, conducting inventory counts to ensure accuracy, and managing inventory returns. All of these transactions will be recorded and tracked using our warehouse inventory system, Brightree.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receive incoming inventory shipments and accurately enter them into our warehouse inventory system.
  2. Pack and ship medical equipment to patients and transfer inventory to our store locations as needed.
  3. Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and update inventory records accordingly.
  4. Manage inventory returns and exchanges efficiently.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to facilitate inventory management.
  6. Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and resolve any inventory-related issues.
  7. Communicate inventory discrepancies and supply shortages to the warehouse supervisor or manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Prior experience in durable medical equipment and Brightree EMR software.
  2. This position is located at our corporate warehouse in Falls Church, VA.
  3. Heavy lifting and handling of medical equipment will be required.
  4. This is a full-time position with regular business hours, with occasional overtime as necessary.
