Store Manager

Directly supervises employees in the Facility. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Ensures corporate and regulatory compliance to create an optimal, safe and cost-effective environment. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Essential Duties

  • Ensure the organization has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities.

  • Directs Facility workers engaged in the packaging, labeling and dispensing of products.

  • Frequently checks inventory on making sure that orders are in when they are supposed to be.

  • Enters data to maintain facility files, charge system, and inventory.

  • Demonstrate competency in Emergency preparedness and business continuity handing Emergency and Risk Management Plans and procedures.

  • Ensure that all money which has come into the facility is accounted for and sales associates and other facility employees are paid accordingly

  • Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities

  • Instructs interns and other personnel on matters pertaining to Facility.

  • Ensure the facility meets health and safety requirements that comply with legislation.

  • Accountable for best practices, process improvements, audits and measurements

  • Addresses and resolves customer queries and complaints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Oversee all store operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

    • Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards are maintained.

    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain appropriate stock levels.

    • Oversee order fulfillment, intake, and patient pick-ups to ensure timely delivery of equipment and supplies.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and support store staff, including setting clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching and development.

    • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.

    • Foster a team culture that reflects company values and delivers exceptional patient service.

  • Customer Service & Patient Care: Ensure all patients are greeted promptly and assisted with professionalism and compassion.

    • Resolve escalated patient concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.

    • Promote a patient-first environment through daily team interactions and practices.

  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with all HIPAA, insurance, and company documentation requirements.

    • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, orders, and inventory management.

    • Stay current on industry regulations and company standards to ensure compliance.

  • Performance & Growth: Meet or exceed operational goals and performance metrics set by leadership.

    • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for store improvement and growth.

    • Implement new initiatives and processes to improve efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

Position Details

  • Required:

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • 2+ years of management or leadership experience, preferably in a retail, healthcare, or DME environment

    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems

    • Commitment to patient care and customer service excellence

  • Preferred:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field

    • Experience in durable medical equipment or healthcare operations

    • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices

  • Job Type: Full Time

  • Hours: 40 per week

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday

                         Weekends as needed 

  • Pay: $20.00 per hour

  • Location: on site
