Store Manager

Barber DME Supply Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Store Manager to join our team. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity in the medical industry, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Process prescriptions, referrals, and authorizations for DME related products and services
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, with compliance to HIPPA guidelines
Verify insurance eligibility and communicate coverage details with patients'
Assess patients' needs for DME and make appropriate recommendations based on physician orders
Responsible for fitting, adjusting, and providing DME to patients, ensuring comfort and proper function
Educate patients' and their families on the proper use and care of equipment
Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families
Monitor inventory levels of DME and assist in ordering as needed
Stays current with industry trends, as well as insurance coverage and requirements
Delivers DME to patients' residence as needed

Qualifications

Position Details

High School diploma or equivalent
Access to Military Instillations with a DOD ID preferred
Bilingual (Spanish a plus!)
Previous experience in a DME or healthcare setting is required
1+ years of management experience is required
Strong knowledge of DME products and their applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
Knowledge of insurance coverage and HIPPA guidelines
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Job Type: Full Time
Hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Saturday as needed

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Location: on site
